I managed to finish of the baby jacket and crocheted blanket that I was working on and the blanket will be going to the Melbourne Homeless Connect Day to be held on March 19th.I also made the blocks for a QAYG quilt using fabric from clothes I'd bought at the op/thrift shop. I made them larger so I needed less for a quilt and this one will also go to the Homeless Connect Day.
It was good to make something useful from clothing that was outdated but de-constructing the clothing took up more time than it was probable worth so I think I'll continue to use scraps leftover from other quilting projects instead.
