Quilt Update

More quilts have arrived this week and in fact we had so many to pick up that we could hardly fit them into the 4WD. There were 8 large boxes transported from Tas and Qld by Linfox and another 8 boxes at the post office. There are so many quilts that I will be adding them to the blog in stages.
Quilts have arrived from Maria Wilson (WA), Beth Edwards and the Piecemaker Quilters in Albany (WA), Vicki from Colleambally (NSW), Betty Braithwaite (Tas), Karen Gardner (NSW), Jacqy Wong (Vic), Lynette Oyston (WA) and from AQA (Vic).
I also received tops from Betty Braithwaite (Tas), Barbara Henderson (Vic), and Elaine Johnston (Tas); as well as bindings from Keryn Emmerson (SA), and Shirley Mason (Vic).
QAYG blocks arrived from Elaine Johnston (Tas) and I also received a lovely big box of sewing supplies from Viki Keen (Vic). Debby Walker (Tas), Edna Tidd (Vic), Louise and Val Atkinson (Vic), Ann Halden (NSW), Jessica Wooderson and the Fibres abd Fabrics group (Qld), and Julie Collins (ACT) all sent lovely knitted or crocheted hats, booties and scarves and will be much appreciated.
I also really appreciated the chocolates from Julie Collins. We are hoping that Ray will be well enough for us to make another delivery at the end of this week or next week, while I fit it in with night duty.
All the lovely quilts and warm garments will help to warm the people of Kinglake and areas and I thank you all on their behalf. Hugs Jan Mac
