Quilts for Kids

The first two QAYG quilts have been made for a group of 35 kids who will be attending a camp for abused/neglected children. The donated QAYG blocks are so bright and colourful that they are sure to brighten their lives.
The last quilt is also going to be donated to a group which helps adults deal with past abuse. A gift from the heart, using blocks made by quilters from around the world will give them a warm hug from all of us.
Also Cat has shown the quilts I sent over to her for distribution in Christchurch for earthquake affected families so check out her blog for an update.
More to come very soon.

  2. I have been bleating for months about making a quilt for your causes Jan, you must have thought I was a motor mouth of the worst kind. But, I'm just old and slow. I've finally put together a scrappy quilt top, and will be sending it to you in the next week or so. I will also be donating into your Paypal account to help pay for the batting and quilting of my top, as I don't have the facilities to do that myself. Just wanted to let you know!
