I met up with the lovely Lesley Lowe again and the Kyabram quilters have been very busy again and have sent over 3 finished quilts as well as many other items which will appear on my other blog. These first 3 quilts are lovely and bright and will bring comfort and warmth to children who are attending a camp for abused children. I've been asked to supply 35 quilts and these are helping to bring the number needed closer to being reached.
I also received a lovely quilt donated by Mary Bargery (NSW) as well as a lovely one from Dallas Neumeyer (Tas) and they will be very much appreciated for their warmth as well as their comforting hug.
Thank you so much for all your help with these quilt appeals.
Hugs, Jan Mac

How are you going with the numbers Jan? how many more to go to make the 35?
ReplyDeleteSo far I have 25 finished quilts for the kids' camp so I should make it OK thanks to all the people who have helped with tops and blocks. I've been asked for more as well so if I get more than needed for this camp they will still be used by other groups helping clients with the same sort of problems.

Jan let me know if you're running short for this kids camp and i'll "whip one up". Currently i'm knitting Wrap squares but i could pause for a day or two to help if you need it.
