Quilts donated by quilters both in Australia and overseas to help bring some comfort to those affected by the tragic floods in Queensland and Victoria, as well as in the earthquakes in New Zealand and Japan in 2011, and to other welfare agencies.
Woohoo--there's mine, 2nd to the last picture, the off centered stars!! Made it clear to the other side of the world. Made the stars out of my favorite BIL's mom's box when they were cleaning her house!! She may not have gotten to travel, but her fabric did!

Using 8 ply and no 8 needles, cast on 24 stitches. (Knit 1, inc in next stitch) to end 36 sts. Beg with purl row st st 7 rows K14 (K2tog) 4 times K14 (32 sts) Purl K12 (K2tog) 4 times K12 (28 sts) Purl K10 (K2tog) 4 times K10 (24 sts) Purl Beg with knit row st st 12 rows Garter stitch 5 rows Cast off and sew up side and bottom seam
